New boots

So I go my new boots! They are awesome. So Stonehenge was alot smaller than I imagined but impressive none the less. Laycock village was also great, Slughorn's house was a treat. Overall, Bath was a wonderful place to visit and I would not mind going back there to stay a few days next time I am in England.

London was perfect, the weather finally was agreeable and the city is amazing. I am all theatred out now - 4 shows in three days! I finally got to see Wicked, then Love Never Dies (not as good as the original Phantom but still good), The 39 Steps, and finally Private Lives with Kim Cattrall (she was great). We also did the requisite site seeing and spent half a day in the British museum. I already want to go back, but I think the next trip will have to have Paris is it since I am going through withdrawl!

Dr. Who and other stuff

So OMG, saw the Dr. Who exhibition in Cardiff!!! I am a total Dr. Who nerd. I was so happy it was actually kind of sad. I also saw Cardiff Castle - awesome -, the Millenium Center, and Tinturn Abbey. The day in Wales was definitely a great one. Today we did Gloucester Cathedral, Avebury which is larger than Stonehenge, the Cathedral at Wells, and then the Glastonbury Tor (it is HUGE). We arrived in Bath this evening and had a wonderful meal. Just took a bath in a claw foot hip tub - I highly recommend them! We are off to Stonehenge tomorrow and then the Baths! Also new boots hopefully!!!

In England

So I made it to England and so far so good. We went through rain, sleet, and snow from London to Oxford but it was worth it. I am still jet lagged but we have had some great days. We are staying in Birdlip for a couple of nights and it is quite pretty and quiet. Blenheim Palace yesterday - where Churchill lived and Warwick Castle today with a smaller version of Ren Fest. The dungeons are way cool there too! Went through the Cotswolds to a small extent, Chipping Camden, Broadway, Moreton on Marsh, and then Stowe on the Wold. Broadway was beautiful but they begin to run together after awhile. Going to Cardiff tomorrow to see Dr. Who exhibit tomorrow as well. Missing him a bit so we shall see what happens when I get home.
